Celebrities including ex-England football manager Gareth Southgate and actor Damian Lewis hit the trading floor on 11 September to raise money for BGC’s 20th charity day.

The event was started in 2004 to raise money for families of staff who died during the 11 September attacks in New York in 2001. The broker lost 658 people — more than two thirds of its staff — during the attack 23 years ago.
