Andrew Warwick-Thompson, the chief executive of LGPS Central — one of eight new public-sector fund managers being set up to invest the assets of the UK’s Local Government Pension Scheme — has decided to step down after just over a year in the role.
In a notice on the organisation’s website, Joanne Segars, chair of the company, said the “current intention” is that Warwick-Thompson will step down by the “spring of 2019”.
