The percentage of students passing CFA Institute exams has fallen amid a push to introduce the notoriously difficult tests to new markets.

In the cohort sitting the Institute’s Level I exam in the first half of 2019, just 41% of the 83,656 test takers passed, a 2% dip from the previous year.
