CFA Institute cancels exams in swathe of European cities

The Institute behind the exams - a rite of passage for many in finance - has added to its list of suspensions as the second wave of Covid-19 surges across the region

The CFA Institute, which runs the popular CFA exam programme for finance professionals keen to develop their careers, has cancelled its December exams in London and several other financial centres.

The latest round of cancellations, which test-takers were notified of on 22 October, affects 24 cities around the world and follow an earlier decision to close test centres in 37 cities several weeks ago. And unlike that first round, this batch of postponements affects several cities in Europe in particular.
