CFA UK offers first ESG qualification for would-be fund managers

Institutional investors are keen to demonstrate that ESG is an important part of the decision-making process when allocating funds

CFA UK has launched a certificate in sustainable investing at a time when institutions are paying ever-increasing attention to the environmental and social impact of their investment decisions.

The professional body in charge of running the notoriously difficult exams for would-be fund managers, said its new test on environmental, social and governance factors in investing will be available from December.
