CGNU to increase allocation to private equity

CGNU, the UK-based life asssurance company, is set to increase its allocation to private equity through its subsidiary Morley Fund Management, which manages £57bn (€91bn) of the life company's money.

Currently, Morley has around £600m either invested or committed to private equity funds on CGNU's behalf, representing about 1% of the total funds under management.
