The Chancellor Rishi Sunak has announced that former hedge fund manager Jonathan Hall has been appointed to the Bank of England’s Financial Policy Committee.

Hall previously worked as a portfolio manager at hedge fund Eisler Capital. Members of the committee monitor and address systemic risks to the stability of the UK’s financial system.
