Chancellor’s chief lieutenant jumps ship for Investment Association

A long-serving special adviser to Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond has quit to join the fund managers' trade body, the Investment Association.

Graham Hook, who had advised Hammond since 2012, left his post at the Treasury in May to take up the role of interim head of government affairs at the IA. He will stay in the position until September 2017, according to Hook's LinkedIn profile.
