Charles River and TradeWeb automate fixed income trades

Charles River Development, a software firm which develops order and portfolio management systems, and TradeWeb, the fixed income trading portal, are to create the first fixed income system spanning the front, middle and back offices of fund management firms.

The two firms aim to provide fund managers with a system through which they can process all elements of a fixed income trade. These elements range from front-office "what if" analysis and pre-trade compliance, through to back-office processes such as electronic trade execution, allocation, and confirmation.
