UK-listed broker Charles Stanley has agreed to buy the UK private client business of Anglo-Dutch financial adviser Insinger de Beaufort, led by Elissa Bayer and Frank Martin, for up to £4m.

The final price will depend on the amount of business Insinger's 14-person team can bring with them, according to a source close to the deal.
