Chasophie, an early stage investor specialising in the financial services sector, has led a £750,000 (€1.13m) first round investment in Clear Capital, a London-based equity research start-up serving buy-side institutional clients.

Clear Capital was launched at the beginning of this year to provide independent research on small and mid-cap UK companies with enterprise values ranging between £100m and £1bn. Clients include Deutsche Asset Management and Morley Fund Management.
