Exane BNP Paribas' long-standing head of research Vincent Laurencin, who left the French broker last month, is set to re-emerge at UK alternatives firm Chenavari Investment Managers, according to two people familiar with the matter.

Laurencin is set to join Chenavari as a managing director at the end of this month and will be in charge of corporate development, working closely with chief executive Loïc Fery, according to the people.
