Crédit Agricole has entered into exclusive negotiations to sell its agency-broker CA Cheuvreux to Kepler Capital Markets, as predicted by Financial News two weeks ago.

The French bank has confirmed that it had entered exclusive negotiations to create Kepler Cheuvreux, a "unique, non-conflicted multi-local broker with a pan-European overlay, independent in thought and action."
