Candriam Investors Group, the €91 billion Franco-Belgian fund manager, has recruited a former partner at $7 billion hedge fund Cheyne Capital to spearhead its expansion drive into Asia and the US.

Keith Dixson spent almost four years with multi-strategy manager Cheyne Capital, where he was a business developer focusing on raising money from North American clients. Before that, he did a similar job at long-short equity hedge fund Matterhorn Investment Management.
