Chief resigns from £17bn UK pension fund

Founding CEO of one of the UK’s new public sector pensions managers steps down after three years

The chief executive of the £17bn Local Pensions Partnership, which manages the savings of public sector workers in London, Lancashire and Berkshire, has stepped down three years after the joint venture’s launch.

Susan Martin, who helped to set up the initial partnership between the London and Lancashire funds in 2016, pre-empting a government drive to merge council funds, left the organisation on April 30.
