Chief technology officer exits Instinet

Andrew Banhidi, chief technology officer of Instinet Group, the institutional broker, is to leave the company to "pursue other interests". He will be replaced by Michael Bundy, a former senior manager at ETrade Financial.

Banhidi is credited with leading Instinet's efforts to develop technology, modernise operations, and develop a more efficient electronic marketplace.
