Cinven consortium closes £2bn Nomura pub estate deal

Cinven, the European buy-out house, has led the £2bn (€3.2bn) deal to buy the Unique Pub Company and Voyager Pub Group from Nomura, alongside UK pubs company Enterprise Inns, private equity investors Legal & General Ventures and Morgan Stanley's Princes Gate Investors.

Cinven alone is understood to hold a stake of around 63%. The private equity consortium has invested £372m for an 83.2% stake in Newco, the purchase vehicle.
