Cinven has become the latest private equity firm to meet the Walker guidelines on transparency in its first annual report since their introduction, although the UK buyout house revealed less than some of its rivals.
Cinven did not provide the same level of disclosure as some of its rivals, such as Terra Firma, Candover and Permira. It also chose not to break down its accounts and failed to give information on the turnover, profits, employee numbers and full management of its 18 portfolio companies.
