Cinven is preparing to ramp up its mid-market investment activity across Europe in the first major strategy move under its new leadership team, according to three sources.

The London-based private equity house is weighing up a plan to extend its focus in the mid-market to “selected asset-light verticals including services and tech enabled financial services”, one person familiar with the situation said.
