Quadrangle Group, a New York private equity firm, has hired a chief investment officer for its asset management arm to manage New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s private investments and family office in the latest addition to the business, which was launched at the end of last year.

Alice Ruth previously worked as chief investment officer for San Francisco-based charity Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation.
