Citadel, one of the world’s largest hedge-fund firms, has hired one of the industry’s few female founders.

Samantha Greenberg is closing her hedge fund, Margate Capital, to join Citadel. Greenberg specialises in investing in the technology, internet and media and consumer sectors. She previously was a partner at Paulson & Co.
