Citigroup has named co-heads of a new investment banking team covering the services industry, promoting one of its own bankers and hiring a former executive at UBS.

In a memo sent to Citi staff on September 4, the bank said it is making services an "independent sector" within its broader industrials group, and named Jean-Baptiste Petard and Chad Hoeft as global co-heads.
