Citi boss Jane Fraser gets $22.5m for her first year on the job

Citigroup has been pushing banks to disclose payment metrics that show gaps between men and women

Citigroup paid new chief executive Jane Fraser $22.5m in her first year in the role.

Fraser, who became chief executive on 1 March, 2021, was given a salary of $1.33m and a cash bonus of $6.35m. The bulk of her compensation — $14.82m — is in restricted stock tied to performance metrics.
