Citi expands emerging markets capacity

Citigroup has made a series of hires in London and New York as it seeks to expand coverage of developing nations. Rodney Thomas has been brought over from Thames River Capital to act as a corporate credit strategist for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He follows a number of recent hires in emerging market corporate debt, including strategist Eric Ollom and Bevan Rosenbloom. Citigroup has also hired Ray Khan from Morgan Stanley, Arkady Lefkowitz from Banco Santander and Macquarie's Steve Gooden as emerging- market corporate debt traders.
