Citigroup has tapped Bank of America Merrill Lynch for its latest hire, according to sources, Reuters reported. Doug Baird will join later this year as chairman of equity capital markets for the Americas. He is currently at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he is a managing director in US equity capital markets. In his new role, Baird will report to John Chirico, Citigroup's co-head of capital markets origination for the Americas.
