Citi MD moves to alternatives sector

A Citi managing director has become the second European banker this week to switch to a senior buyside marketing role at an alternative asset management group, after leaving the financial services giant to join Fairfield Greenwich Group, a $15bn (€10.6bn) hedge fund group.

Maria Teresa Pulido, who has led Citi's private banking business in the Iberian and northern European regions for the past four years, has left to become head of global sales at Fairfield Greenwich, according to statements from the hedge fund manager and Citi yesterday.
