Citi names new global heads of equity capital markets

Citigroup has promoted two investment bankers to run its equity capital markets business globally, the latest changes to its upper ranks as it embarks on a bid to grab market share from its rivals.

The bank has named Douglas Adams and James Fleming as global co-heads of its business advising companies on initial public offerings and other equity products, according to an internal memo seen by Financial News.
