Citi strikes partnership with Palantir to bolster wealth tech

Wall Street bank says tie-up with data intelligence firm will ‘modernise’ how it leverages data, streamline onboarding and help with account management

Citigroup has entered into a strategic partnership with data intelligence firm Palantir, a move it said will help “modernise” the technology underpinning its wealth platform.

The Wall Street bank confirmed it had inked a deal with the US-based surveillance and analytics firm, which is chaired by billionaire Peter Thiel, in a first quarter earnings presentation on 15 April.
