Citigroup is chasing top dealmakers at rivals in London in a bid to become the top investment bank in Europe.

Citi hopes to overtake JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs at the top of the revenue tables, according to Manolo Falco, the London-based co-head of its traditional investment banking businesses, who told Financial News there are “seven to 10 bankers we would love to hire” to help dislodge its rivals.
