Citi has successfully dismissed an analyst who lied about an expense claim for food while travelling, even though it fell below the bank's €100 a day limit.

Szabolcs Fekete was let go by the bank after receipts he provided for a three-day work trip to Amsterdam last July were questioned by managers.
