Citigroup has hired two senior staff to its prime broking arm, following a tripling of activity in the last 12 months, according to Nick Roe, European head of equity finance.

Neil Swinburne will join in April as European head of stock lending. He joins from Goldman Sachs, where he was executive director in charge of stock loan trading.
