Citigroup, which has worked on the largest volume of capital markets deals for Anglo American, and joint brokers, JP Morgan Cazenove, have failed to win a place on the $1.2bn (€1bn) flotation of Mondi, the mining group's paper and packaging business.

Anglo American has confirmed that Citigroup and JP Morgan Cazenove do not have a role on the listing.
