Citigroup is remaining tight-lipped about the future of Jack Grubman, the humbled telecoms analyst at the firm who has testified to the US Congress house financial services committee over his relationship with WorldCom.

Grubman appeared before committee this month alongside WorldCom executives as part of the investigation into the apparent $3.8bn fraud at the company.
