Citigroup has named a new chief for transaction banking in the UK and Europe, in order to “sharpen the focus” on Britain within one of the bank’s most globally-distributed lines of business.

Peter Crawley, head of the same business in Sub-Saharan Africa since 2013, is set to take the newly-created position as head of treasury and trade solutions for the UK and Europe, according to a memo seen by Financial News.
