Citigroup dealmaker Ciampolini to step down after eight years

The ECM veteran latterly headed its alternative capital markets business in Europe

A senior Citigroup dealmaker leading an alternative capital markets team in Europe is leaving the bank.

Giacomo Ciampolini, head of Citigroup’s alternative capital markets business for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, is departing after around eight years at the Wall Street bank, according to people familiar with the matter.
