Citigroup dealmakers step up to advise on Covid-19 vaccine facility

Citigroup has called on some of its most senior dealmakers to advise on a multi-billion dollar deal to help create a facility to manufacture and distribute Covid-19 vaccines.

The US investment bank is the sole adviser to Gavi, a vaccine alliance, on its global Covid-19 procurement facility which aims to deliver around two billion doses of the vaccine on a "fair and equitable basis" to countries that sign up to the programme by the end of 2021.
