Citigroup hires BNP Paribas’ Watson in bond trading push

Citigroup has hired a senior trader from BNP Paribas for its London government bond trading desk, part of four new recruits for its markets division. 

Courtenay Watson is set to join Citigroup in August as a managing director on its European government bond trading desk, according to a person familiar with the matter. She was previously head of peripheral European government bond trading at BNP Paribas.
