Citigroup has tapped one of Credit Suisse's top dealmakers to co-head its investment banking unit in Europe, as the Swiss bank continues to lose banking talent amid a broader shake-up.

Jens Welter, who was named co-head of global banking at Credit Suisse in January, will join Citi in December as co-head of banking, capital markets and advisory for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to a memo seen by Financial News.
