Citigroup is embarking in a major redesign of its UK headquarters in Canary Wharf as the US bank overhauls its offices to capitalise on growing demand for flexible working.

The bank is set to spend more than £100m refurbishing its 42-storey tower at 25 Canada Square, which it bought in 2019 for £1.2bn. The renovation is expected to be completed in 2025, Citi said in a statement.
