Citigroup has said that 99% of its US employees have complied with its mandate to get a Covid-19 jab, one day before a deadline that will mean non-vaccinated staff lose their jobs.
Sara Wechter, Citigroup's head of human resources, said in a 13 January LinkedIn post that most of its 65,000 US staff had now received a jab. The bank said that those who did not get vaccinated by 14 January would lose their jobs by the end of the month.
