Nigel Mills, head of UK corporate broking at Citigroup, has lured two bankers from his former employer Hoare Govett as uncertainty continues to cloud the future of the ABN Amro-owned broker.

The arrival of Bertie Whitehead and Adam Lister takes the number of bankers Mills has hired from Hoare Govett to at least eight since his arrival at Citigroup two years ago.
