Citigroup takes stake in London blockchain startup

Citigroup has become the latest bank to take a stake in the London-based blockchain start up launched by Peter Randall, the founder of pan-European equity trading platform Chi-X.

Setl, the payment and settlement infrastructure firm launched in July 2015, aims to help financial institutions to move cash and assets directly between each other using blockchain.
