Citigroup wants two-year bank ban on Willumstad

Citigroup is trying to prevent Robert Willumstad, its former president and chief operating officer who resigned last month, from taking a senior role at eight international banks for two years.

A Citigroup filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission said that Willumstad could not become a named executive officer for Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Wachovia, Wells Fargo or American Express, for two years after he leaves.
