Citigroup's China chief quits to join Singaporean bank

Citigroup has lost the head of its Chinese business responsible for leading the bank's acquisitions of stakes in two of the country’s financial institutions as part of Citi's expansion in investment banking in China.

Richard Stanley, a 27-year Citigroup veteran, has quit the bank to run DBS, a Singapore-based banking group recently hit by writedowns on a portfolio of US sub-prime investments.
