City Analytics, the niche financial research headhunter, has hired Alastair Kendall, an experienced analyst and fund manager, as a consultant.

Kendall was a marketing analyst in global food retailing at ABN Amro, before leaving in May. Earlier he was a marketing analyst at UBS Warburg and before that a fund manager at Rothschild.
