City investment bank Numis told hundreds of staff that they will continue to work from home for the foreseeable future, despite Boris Johnson easing lockdown restrictions in the UK last night.
In a note sent to employees shortly after the prime minister's televised address to the nation to encourage certain sectors back to work, Numis executives said that the bank had "proven we can work from home" and that it would continue to do so until "further easing" of government lockdown procedures.
