City defies worst post-Brexit forecasts despite Goldman’s latest Paris move

The number of City jobs lost to the EU as a result of Brexit has been way lower than the gloomiest forecasts at the time of the referendum. But some doomsters are warning there is much worse to come.

“London’s role as the financial centre of Europe is over. You just can’t see it yet,” one top City lawyer told me recently.
