A newly elected UK government led by Labour party leader Jeremy Corbyn would hit investment in growing businesses, according to a leading wealth manager speaking at a Financial News Breakfast Briefing on Wednesday.

The panel, Who’s afraid of Jeremy Corbyn in No. 10 Downing Street?, addressed the risks for financial services in light of the left-wing party’s strong polling in recent months, sometimes coming ahead of a Conservative government that has been widely criticised over its handling of Britain’s departure from the European Union.
