London-based asset management professionals have been warned to expect lower bonuses this year, due to disappointing market returns in 2018.

According to accounting firm PwC, overall bonus pools this year are likely to be flat compared to 12 months ago. However, asset management companies will likely have to share the money between more staff after a hiring spree at the start of last year.
