A raft of business leaders including a former JPMorgan vice chair and an ex-Slaughter and May partner have written a letter supporting Labour’s economic policy ahead of the general election.

Charles Harman, a former Cazenove and JPMorgan banker, and Charles Randell, a consultant at Slaughter and May, are among 121 business heavyweights to back the party as it bids to burnish its business credentials ahead of the 4 July vote.
